Univers Type exploration

This type exploration was a project to show a comparison between Univers designed by Adrian Frutiger and my personal collection of type taken from everyday life. I created collages of my type collection and stylized them using a scanner. Then using those collages and Univers, I created an accordion fold that spells out the pangram “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.”
Process work
To prepare for the creation of this project, I collected type from various places, cut it out with photoshop then made collages for each letter of the alphabet. After that, I printed all my collages and scanned them to create unique treatments to contrast my type collection to Univers.
