Overview

For the second issue of Plastikcomb Magazine, I had the pleasure of designing a spread along with the other members of the Montclair State University Visual Communication Design Club. This magazine embraces imperfection in the best way by highlighting amazing artists alongside playful design. Working on this project has just reinforced that I love what it means to be a designer. As a designer who is actively trying to solve creative problems, being able to adapt is essential. This project allowed me to adapt to design layouts that embrace imperfection and are playful and out of the box rather than the minimal design I tend to do. My favorite part of this project is the process of being inspired by my peers and watching our layouts develop. I am grateful for the opportunity to be featured in this publication.

This project allowed me to experiment which in turn made for great process work. See below for my variations and process.
